The Australian Poetry Hall of Fame

The Arcadia Theatre in Guyra, Australia, is home to the Australian Poetry Hall of Fame. The theatre was built in 1929 and has an authentic hall with excellent acoustic properties, which make it a popular choice for the Armidale Chamber Choir.

The Hall is perfect for a range of events, including band performances and practice, book readings, celebrations, choir practice, comedy, concerts, cultural performances, Eisteddfod, live music (with a particular love for country and island music), parties, poetry readings, recitals, film screenings, shows, and theatre.

Seating 120 in the dress circle and 280 in the downstairs auditorium, the hall also features a workshop room and a café.

Guyra is located in the beautiful Northern Tablelands in New England, and is just 30 minutes from Armidale and 40 minutes from Glen Innes, making it centrally located for easy access.
