Once home to the Members' Dining Room, the Macquarie Room dominates the fourth floor of the Royal Automobile Club.

Lovingly restored to embrace delicate period details reminiscent of the Club's glamorous past, and boasting French-inspired ceilings, Doric columns and original art-deco wood panelling, not to mention a parquet dance floor which has been in use since 1928 - the Macquarie Room delivers an ambience to enhance any function.

Suitable for 110 seated guests, or 120 cocktail style, the Macquarie Room can be adapted to any event and is immensely popular for weddings and gala dinners. Corporate dining and business breakfasts, networking, conferences and corporate training are all seamlessly accommodated in the Macquarie Room.

About the organisation:
The Royal Automobile Club of Australia (RACA) was founded in 1903 and has since retained its' enthusiasm for all things motoring whilst offering a variety of special interest groups, activities and of course member-only events. The Club is located in a grand, eight-story, heritage-listed sandstone building adjacent to Circular Quay, perfect for bringing your event to life! The Royal Botanical Gardens are directly across the street, and the Opera House mere minutes' walk away.
