The Kiama Masonic Centre Hall is an inviting hall that opened in 1976. The Hall is a large, open-plan hall with polished timber floors, a kitchen, and toilets. The Hall has a beautiful feature wall of the original stone construction.
The venue would make an excellent place for a meeting or Auction and serves well as a space for Yoga or dance lessons.
In 1986 the building was listed on the New South Wales Heritage Register as a building of state significance. It is one of only a few buildings of its type remaining in Kiama and the only one in continuous use.
The hall is located close to the very beautiful Hindmarsh Park. This public green space features lawns, pathways, a playground for kids, plus a war memorial.
Freemasonry had its roots in ancient Egypt and was active as a ‘trade organisation’ for stonemasons in medieval times.
